Boy Almost Beaten to death for stealing Bicycle (Jungle Justice II)

In Alagbado, Lagos, a boy (name not said) was accused of stealing a bicycle from a pepper seller's son's bicycle.The boy stole the bicycle about 3 Weeks ago and everyone were searching for him. But unfortunately for him, yesterday night, he came around to the area for a reason not know to me, and he was caught.
           Many chants were raised over him, and the boys and the women in the area were beating him, hitting him with sticks and people were giving him random slaps until a woman came to beg for him, and the boy said (in yoruba) " I sold the bicycle and sold it 10K". So, he was asked to produce the money (Without the police being involved)... Is this not Jungle Justice !! If the woman wasn't there, he might have been dead...
