Person Arrested For Stealing Hair Product In Shoprite

Police say one man who needed a trim, cut a deal of his own at shoprite by stealing hair products.
Michael who is a christ embassy church member faced a judge Sunday on commercial burglary charges.
According to a criminal complaint Micheal walked into the Shoprite on Saturday and started pocketing hair products.

Shoprite loss prevention officers say he first grabbed barber shears and then took some hair gel.
The total value of the stolen goods was less than 2000 naira.
Sunday in court he found out he would need a lot more money to get out of jail.
“I am going to post a bond of 10,000 naira cash or surety…cannot return to the location of the alleged incident,” Judge Musa said.
It turns out Micheal  wasn’t even supposed to be at Shoprite because of a previous case that banned him from the store.
Because of that, his shoplifting charge was upgraded to commercial burglary.
